Why are glasses so hard to shop for?

Using this quiet post-Christmas Sunday to catch up on some work at Caribou while the rest of the world is spending QT with their families. My family is vacationing in Egypt for the holidays—sadly, I couldn’t go because of work. Miss them. =(

One of the best things about q4 call inpatient rotations is that every fourth day I can let go of all vanity and head to work in pajamas (scrubs), no makeup, and glasses…and it is perfectly acceptable. In fact, it’s considered weird if you don’t do those things.

I have a question for you all…I don’t follow too many people on Tumblr, so I may not have a good sense of what really goes on out there…

On call today. Looking forward to it since, well, I like medicine and I’m a dork like that…and since I love my current team (aka my resident Christie. She’s the shit…the good kind.)
Caribou coffee makes every day better. I stopped by on the way to work this morning and picked up cups for Christie and me. The barrista guy was particularly cute and friendly and that made the trip even more...
