Stress is a time-waster. Instead of focusing on feeling stressed out, focus on dealing with the thing that’s causing the stress. That’s way more efficient.

In response to my borderline suicidal post about being a down-in-the-dumps intern, fellow Tumblr doc Ashley wrote me a very sweet e-mail to help me through it. She listed the mantras she uses to survive those rough patches. She’s totally right, too, everything is better in the morning:
